Documentation that can't ship broken
Docs-as-code authoring in Markdown: live preview, a visual navigation editor, and validation that catches mistakes like broken links, orphan pages, and bad config as you write.
Authoring that catches your mistakes
Caught and fixed as you type
Problems are flagged in the editor as you type, often with a one-click fix, and the build stays blocked until they are resolved.
Navigation you can refactor
Build the table of contents by drag-and-drop. Rename or move a page and every link to it updates; Find Usages shows where each page is referenced.
Live preview
Your Markdown renders in a side panel and updates as you type, scroll-synced to the editor.
One project, a site or a PDF
Build a static site or export a PDF from the same project, and deploy to Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages in one click.
Built-in search
Full-text search that filters your docs as your readers type.
Landing pages and a blog
Compose section-based landing pages like this one, and run a changelog or engineering blog alongside your reference docs.

What is Codocation?
Codocation is a docs-as-code authoring tool. Your documentation is plain files in Git: pages are written in Markdown, and navigation and configuration are defined in YAML. Codocation adds a live preview, a visual navigation tree, and validation that catches broken pages before they are published. The project builds into a static site or a PDF, or deploys to GitHub Pages or Cloudflare Pages in one click. Codocation runs as a JetBrains IDE plugin or a standalone app, and both open the same project.
